Children Ages 6-10
Each Camp is an entire month of Forest School squeezed into just four days! 16 hours outdoors to play, learn and grow.
Children are encouraged to try new things, be challenged and work as a group. Learning new skills, expand their knowledge of Northwest ecology and build lasting friendships.
Each day we are exploring the natural world with all of our senses, but most importantly we play! Our camps are child led. As the children’s interests shift so will our plans, each week is completely unique to the children’s interests at hand.
With our unique child led approach + small group sizes + families returning year after year, these programs tend to fill fast!
As children arrive we gather and discuss where we would like to explore and what we want to learn about that day. When everyone has arrived, we head into the forest to explore and play.
Around the midpoint of our day we break to have lunch. Children pack a lunch and water, along with weather appropriate clothing each day. After we finish eating, children return to playing and exploring until pickup at the end of our day.
